荒野西部——国家公园（浅度）5日游 | 5-Day Wild West Adventure in WY

趁着这次我妈来美国，本宅男也计划了一次西部之旅，目的地是怀俄明州的两个国家公园——黄石和大提顿。

I have never considered going to Wyoming until a few months ago when my mother said she’s coming to the U.S., which is a great opportunity for a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Park.

由于时间（10月）比较晚，黄石公园内部分住宿已经关闭，可选的余地不大，最后在Canyon Village的Lodge住了3个晚上。这样也免不了走了一些回头路。

For Yellowstone, the timing was actually not a good one, as most lodges will be closed soon. We finally booked 3 nights at Canyon Lodge, located in Canyon Village.

Day 0: Seattle ✈️ Cody (via Denver) | 西雅图-丹佛-科迪

第0天，从西雅图飞往科迪（作为通往黄石东入口的中转站），中途在丹佛转机。科迪的迷你机场让人印象深刻。

The most impressive things in Cody was the teeny-tiny aircraft and airport.

考虑到未来的几天会下雪，我们在赫兹租了一辆尼桑的四驱车。

We hired a Nissan AWD at Hertz, considering the snow in the following days.

Day 1: Cody 🚗 East Entrance of YSNP 🚗 Mud Volcano 🚗 Canyon Village | 科迪🚗黄石东门🚗泥浆火山🚗峡谷

开往黄石的途中路过Buffalo Bill State Park.

中午在一个叫做Pahaska Tepee的地方吃了午餐。这个地方是美国历史上传奇人物Buffalo Bill打猎时住的地方。菜单很有特色，夹在一份报纸中。

We had lunch at a really special restaurant at Pahaska Tepee, which is Buffalo Bill‘s old hunting lodge.

不久，我们就从东门进入了黄石国家公园。

It was not long before we entered YSNP from the East Entrance.

到达Canyon Village住宿的地方之前看到的第一个景点：泥浆火山。当时也不会想到之后每天都能看到很多相似的景观。

The first attraction we saw — Mud Volcano — which, in the meantime, is among the numerous similar spots I would be seeing in the following days.

Day 2: Canyon & Mammoth Hot Springs | 大峡谷以及猛犸热泉区

第二天的计划原本是游览完上8字的一圈，但由于起得比较晚，东北角的罗斯福区没能来得及去。

The plan for day 2 was to complete the upper loop. However, we didn’t managed to visit Tower-Roosevelt Area, because we slept late.

另一边，能看到远处的山。

Day 3: Midway & Upper Geyser Basin | 中途间歇泉&上间歇泉盆地

第三天的计划是下8字。但由于路程比较长，而且几个最负盛名的景点都在下8字，我们最终只去了大棱镜温泉所在的中途间歇泉盆地，以及老忠实泉所在的上间歇泉盆地。

The plan for Day 3 was to complete the Lower Loop, which was quite difficult because of the longer distance and packed tourist attractions.

老忠实泉（上间歇泉盆地）| Old Faithful (Upper Geyser Basin)

说实话，老忠实泉并没有给我太大的惊喜（可能是我的期待值太高了）

Honestly speaking, Old Faithful didn’t surprise me too much (perhaps I was expecting too much).

周边的景色倒是不错。

Day 4: West Thumb 🚗 Grand Teton National Park | 西拇指 🚗 大提顿国家公园

从黄石南下进入大提顿之前，在西拇指间歇泉盆地，见了间歇泉最后一面。

Before leaving Yellowstone and entering Grand Teton, we had a last and final look at geysers at West Thumb.

看完间歇泉最后一眼后，我们从黄石南出口离开，进入大提顿。天空也开始下起雪。我们冒着雪在蛇河边拍了几张。

As we left YSNP from the south exit and entered Grand Teton NP, it started to snow again. We took some shots along the Snake River.

Day 5: Grand Teton 🚗 Jackson Hole | 大提顿 🚗 杰克逊

第五天，早晨天气晴好，起床一拉开窗帘便能看到雪山。

The weather of Day 5 was great (at least for the morning).

离开珍妮湖，雾气渐浓。我们到了Mormon Row，一个摩门教徒曾经定居的地方。

另一个经典的大提顿拍摄点在Schwabacher’s Landing。可惜到了下午天公不作美。

离开大提顿，20分钟后，就到达了杰克逊小镇。荒野西部之旅落下帷幕。

20 minutes later, we arrived at Jackson Hole, drawing the wild west adventure to its end.

Day 6: Jackson Hole ✈️ Seattle (via Salt Lake City) | 杰克逊 ✈️ 盐湖城 ✈️ 西雅图
